What is a Blast Epic Enduro Weekend?

Blast 3 2014 6

It’s not a race.

It’s not a holiday.

It’s all about having a Blast!

For 2,5 days you will be staying in a stylish accommodation, riding technical single tracks and chilling with like minded people.

Every day a qualified 100% local guide will take you for a full day of riding on his best trails. To make sure you make the most out of your weekend, we provide at least one uplift per day. Don’t think this is a walk in the park though, as you need to do about 1000m of leg powered climbing too.

To make things interesting and spice up the trip, you will be timed on 6 descents over the weekend. As there is no practice, it all comes down to skill, reading the terrain and fitness. At the end of the weekend the stage times are added for the overall standing. Not much of a racer? Don’t worry, the racing side of things is just for fun. You can cruise the stages too if you want.

To make sure you won’t forget an epic trip like this, we always bring a pro photographer with us to capture both photo and video of the weekend. Our crew is not the least of names with Lars Veenstra, Michiel Rotgans, Ydwer van der Heide and Thomas Humpage on the roster.

The Blast costs € 449,- per person, this includes:

  • Accommodation from Thursday – Sunday (late checkout)
  • Breakfast on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
  • Lunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
  • One uplift per day
  • 2,5 days of riding with a professional guide on technical single tracks
  • 6 timed stages spread out over the 2,5 days of riding
  • Pictures taken by a pro photographer during the event
  • Goodie bag

Per day you do about 35-40km of riding spread out over 1200hm of leg powered climbing, and about 1000hm of van assisted climbing. Expect technical single tracks, rocks, roots and riding with exposure. The Blast is not for beginners!
When in doubt if you have enough skills/fitness to ride a Blast, get in touch with us!

For the Blast in 2017 there are only 11 spots per event, so sign up quick!
